John,

With the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, there's finally a chance for our government to get to work for the American people -- first, by fighting this pandemic.

But since Democrats have incredibly slim majorities in the House and Senate, we'll need Republican legislators to step up, finally put their partisanship aside, and work with the new administration. We can't let them block the progress that is possible under President Biden and Vice President Harris.

Why? Because thousands of Americans are dying daily from the coronavirus. Families are going hungry, folks are struggling to make ends meet, and our economy is faltering. We can't afford to wait: A delay in action will only make things worse.

We saw what Republicans did during the Obama administration. They obstructed, delayed, denied. That's just not going to cut it during this crisis.

That's why I'm calling on the GOP leaders like Mitch McConnell to put country over party and let the Biden-Harris team get to work.

John, do you think that members of Congress should set aside partisanship and commit to getting to work right away to get us through this pandemic and economic crisis?
YES
Thanks for stepping up and calling for action. Let's hold our elected leaders accountable.
