John,

We're on the frontlines of the fight to keep the House blue in 2022 -- and things aren't looking good.

Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight reported that "Republicans are on track to take back the House in 2022." Politico reported that President Biden is "hellbent" on avoiding a midterm backlash, but "history isn't on his side."

Here's why: the sitting President's party loses an average of 27 House seats in midterm elections. This year, Republicans have control over redistricting in a majority of states -- they're redrawing the maps and creating as unfair a playing field as possible.

This could be a disaster. Our Democratic House Majority is razor-thin -- we're only up by 10 seats. There's no room for error.

But here's the good news: we know how to win.

Thanks to over 8,000 grassroots donors like you, we sent nearly $400,000 directly to the most vulnerable House Democrats in the country ahead of the 2020 election.

Together, we helped re-elect bold Democrats like Katie Porter, Andy Kim, Lucy McBath, Lauren Underwood, and Jason Crow -- a new generation of leaders who flipped Republican districts in 2018 and have been working 24/7 to uplift working families, provide economic relief, fight climate change, and protect our democracy since.

Our strategy of early investment and grassroots mobilization works. We can defy the odds and Hold the House in 2022 -- but only with support from folks like you.

Can we count on you to chip in to Hold the House?
