Hello,

Last week marked a momentous occasion in our nation's history. It was my honor and pleasure to be a part of the inauguration ceremony as my friends Joe Biden and Kamala Harris took their oaths of office.

Three weeks ago our country and our democracy were challenged as they rarely have been. Last week we did what America always does: We brushed ourselves off, picked ourselves up and pledged to keep going and to keep doing good.

Now we have the team in place to help us to restore the soul of America and cross the river of our divides. Now we rededicate ourselves to the cause of democracy and of making life better for all. As the poet Amanda Gorman stated so beautifully, "There is always light -- if only we're brave enough to see it, if only we're brave enough to be it."

I have faith in President Biden and Vice President Harris and I pledge to do everything I can to help them restore America. If you'd like to support my work in the Senate any donation you can make would be appreciated.
