I’m sorry to be so direct, but if you can spare it, will you chip in $5 to my Progressive Campaign today?

I know you get a lot of emails asking for money. But I’m hoping you will take a moment to read this so I can explain why I need your help.

• Trump and his loyal Republican followers are threatening our progress and our Democratic values each and every day.


• Our progressive movement has only come this far because of a strong grassroots base of supporters like you -- not corporate donors.


• And we’re rapidly approaching our July fudndraising deadline. Right now, we’re not on track to hit our goal.

So I’m asking: Will you help my Progressive Campaign raise $5,OOO by Wednesday night to stay on track for our critical fundraising goal?

I don’t take ANY money from shady special interest groups or mega-corporations.

Our progressive movement is entirely people-powered -- run by proud and motivated Democrats chipping in just $5 and $1O at a time.

And I can tell you how important that is. For too many years, Big Money groups called the shots in Congress. But now, we’re showing that campaigns CAN be fueled by passionate and motivated citizens.

By running strong grassroots campaigns that don’t quit in hard times, we’re proving that you don’t need a corporate sponsor to run for Congress. This will lead to more diverse candidates across the country!

I am so proud of what we’ve accomplished since I was first elected to Congress. I can’t wait to get started on the next 2 years of progress. But we need your help to hit our first fundraising goal of 2O19 and stay afloat.
