"Looking ahead, House GOP leader eyes ACA repeal (yes, again)" -- MSNBC, 09/16/19

John --

We're going to get straight to the point: this month, House Republicans met to lay out their plans to retake the House majority in 2020. On the top of their list? Dismantling the Affordable Care Act, which would result in millions of Americans losing their health care coverage.

No one should have to choose between paying the bills or receiving life-saving care. We're fighting back to protect the majority that is working on expanding affordable health care -- not take it away.

That's why hitting our end-of-quarter fundraising goal this month is so vital. Will you chip in before the deadline on Monday and become one of our grassroots supporters who is fighting to protect the Affordable Care Act?

Taking away our health care isn't a new GOP tactic -- in fact, promising (and then failing) to "reform" health care has been a theme of Republican campaigns for a decade. We've seen what happens when Republicans try to dismantle our health care: harmful government shutdowns, attacks on people with pre-existing conditions, and higher taxes on the middle class.

Suzan DelBene is determined to protect the majority in the House so we can keep making progress on affordable health care -- not to mention gun safety, campaign finance reform, and so much more. But she can't go up against the GOP by herself in 2020.

We need our grassroots team to be stronger than the special interests backing these Republican attacks. Stepping up this quarter and chipping in what you can will help prove that Suzan DelBene and the House majority are prepared to fight back. Rush a donation before the deadline.
