You’re probably used to this by now: I ask for a $26 contribution nearly every month on the 26th, but this time is a little different.

Our biggest FEC deadline of the election is in four days, and we have to reach our goal so we can help elect Democrats across the country in 2020. Can you pitch in?

President Trump has come to Ohio TWICE this summer alone. And pretty much everywhere Trump goes, dark money follows. Trump knows he can’t win in 2020 without our state, so he’s hoping to use his sway with special-interest donors to raise millions to defeat Democrats.

When the FEC reports our numbers at the end of the month, Trump will be looking. We want to make sure he knows exactly where Ohio stands -- and it’s not with him.

That’s why I’m asking for $26 today. Twenty-six dollars was our average online contribution last year, and it represents the fact that this team is made up of grassroots supporters. Individually, the contributions might not seem like that much, but together, they add up to so much more.
