John,
Things in Washington, D.C. are changing very quickly these days.
Last week, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris began their terms as President and Vice President. The same day, Alex Padilla, Jon Ossoff, and Reverend Raphael Warnock were also sworn in to the Senate -- which means Democrats now officially have control of the White House, Senate, and House of Representatives.
We haven't had a chance like this in 11 years -- and we can't throw away this opportunity to work together and pass the legislation American families are counting on.
Now, more than ever, we have to hit the ground running to pass COVID-19 relief, protect our climate, build on the Affordable Care Act, expand the Child Tax credit, and so much more.
I am as committed as ever to fighting for you and your family, John. And no matter what the rest of 2021 throws at us, there's one thing I can promise you: I will never give up on that fight -- or on you.
So now, let's get to work on what matters most.
I am so excited to see what lies ahead -- for you, for our country, for all us.
Thank you,
Suzan DelBene
