The following statement is from Pronita Gupta, Director of Job Quality, and Tanya Goldman, Senior Policy Analyst on the Job Quality team.
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to let you know that Friday, January 22 was our last day at CLASP. We have both been offered opportunities in the new Biden-Harris Administration (details to come soon), so we apologize for the short notice. While we are excited to continue working on economic and racial justice issues, with a focus on improving the lives of all workers and their families, we are sad to be leaving CLASP.
We appreciate the partnerships, connections and the community of allies we have developed through our work on job quality issues while at CLASP. We thank you for your support, guidance and partnership on so many endeavors -- from pushing for more equity in our new social policies, such as paid family medical leave, to ensuring we have robust implementation and enforcement of these critical rights and protections.
This work will continue at CLASP. Hannah Matthews, our Deputy Executive Director of Policy, will be the interim director of the team. You can reach her at [email protected]. Also, Nat Baldino ([email protected]) and Adewale Maye ([email protected]) will continue managing the policy, research and advocacy work for the team.
Thank you again! We know our paths will continue to cross in the future.
Best,
Pronita & Tanya
