"Woke-ism, multiculturalism, all the -isms — they're not who America is," tweets ex-secretary of state Mike Pompeo.

We couldn't disagree more, Mr. Pompeo. America's diversity is our greatest asset -- united we stand, divided we fall.

Republicans have capitalized on extremism and racism for far too long. After all, they've spent the past four years planting seeds of division in our nation, growing their power at the expense of our country's stability.

Even though we kicked Trump out of office, GOP representatives continue to peddle their oppressive agenda by trafficking in misinformation and fear. And they won't let up now.

Trump's GOP cronies will agitate the millions of remaining Trump Republicans who agree with Pompeo and his vision of America -- even after he's long gone. Those who believe “wokeness” will put us on a path towards authoritarianism won't be going away anytime soon.

Together, we can show them that hateful rhetoric has no place in our government, but we're in for a long fight. Now is the time to reinvest in our progressive champions and support candidates who are willing to stand up for what is right. Unfortunately, we're already falling behind in our fundraising goals.
