On his first day in office, President Biden officially cancelled the permit for the Keystone XL Pipeline. This is an important step to stop fossil fuel projects -- but the fossil fuel industry still threatens communities around the country. Help stop disastrous fossil fuel projects in their tracks: Donate $10 or more NOW.
Right now, the fossil fuel industry is working overtime to force through destructive pipelines like Line 3 in Minnesota and the Mountain Valley Pipeline in the Southeast. This industry, and the politicians it’s bankrolling, will spend the next four years doing everything they can to wreck our climate, harm wildlife, and pollute communities.
These next four years are pivotal for the future of our Earth. Together, we need to hold President Biden to his promises, and push him and Congress to stop Big Oil’s destruction.
Help us stop ALL fossil fuel projects and take the bold climate action that science and our communities demand. Send a $10 donation to Friends of the Earth today.

We have just inaugurated a president with the strongest climate platform in history -- at a time when we have less than ten years to avert the worst impacts of the climate crisis. If there was ever a time to go big and be bold, this is it.
Our job now is to demand immediate executive actions that protect our communities, stop all harmful fossil fuel infrastructure, and hold billionaires and polluters accountable as we build back better.
Already, we are working with allies to stop toxic pipelines like Line 3 and the Mountain Valley pipeline -- pipelines which are in violation of environmental laws and treaties, endanger tribal nations for the sake of oil profits, and are scientifically incompatible with a stable climate.
At the same time, we need to cut off Big Oil at the source -- by immediately halting new leasing of public lands to the fossil fuel industry, phasing out fossil fuel extraction, and making sure that any environmental review and project approval process is dictated by science, climate and community impacts, not by the power of the fossil fuel industry.
Finally, we are fighting for a Green New Deal that puts people over profit, and a just transition that protects workers and builds an economy and a society that works for all of us. Now is not the time to settle for anything less.
Help us seize this moment and take decisive action right away with a $10 contribution to Friends of the Earth.

Now, we begin the work of building the country and the world we want to live in, a world where we can all thrive.
This fight will not be easy. We know that the Big Polluters, billionaires, and the politicians on their payrolls will try every trick in the book to stay in power and lock in projects that will wreck both our climate and our communities.
But no matter how many resources they bring to bear, we know that our people-powered movement can stop them. We did it with Keystone XL, after Friends of the Earth members like you fought for nearly a decade to stop the pipeline. We did it with the Atlantic Coast Pipeline, with 156,000 people like you making your voice heard. We’ve done it with lawsuits and direct actions, by pressuring politicians to change laws, and pushing corporations to change their policies.
John, I believe our movement is stronger than it’s ever been. And now, our conditions for organizing are better than they have been in a long time -- but our window is already closing. That’s why it is imperative that we act with the boldness and urgency this moment demands. And that’s why we are asking for your support today.
Now is the time for bold action to protect our environment: Support this work with your $10 donation.
