Hello John 👋,

ABOUT T3CH L1B3RTY T3CH L1B3RTY is a single-issue campaign designed to raise awareness about the importance of technological liberty, the sharing economy, cryptocurrency, blockchain, anti-surveillance, and digital privacy, as well as technologies such as IoT, VR, AR, AI, and transhumanism.
Since Students For Liberty's founding, our leaders and student groups across the globe have organized many different events about technology and liberty. These events range from discussions and panels, to educational events and training on how to organize public protests.
Here is what our students have been up to over the last few months around the globe. STUDENTS FOR LIBERTY SOUTH ASIA L.I.T. is a series of events organized by Project Statecraft and SFL South Asia.
The aim of the event is to empower young people in the intersections of the fields of technology, policy, and libertarian rights. The event culminated into a policy hackathon where the participants brainstormed, coordinated, and solved problems by creating practical and innovative technologies and policy solutions. STUDENTS FOR LIBERTY AFRICA On November 19, 2020, 80 students gathered in a classroom at the University of Ngozi, in Burundi, Africa to discuss technology and liberty.
SFL’s local leaders Edgard Mugenzi, Lambert Nduwayezu, Innocent Kezakimana, and Monia Wakana held a debate with participants on disruptive innovation and its importance in developing countries. #FREEROSS CAMPAIGN On December 15, 2020, the Daily Beast reported that President Donald Trump was considering the issue of a presidential pardon to Ulbricht.
Students For Liberty organized an online campaign in order to raise awareness about the case and emphatically called for President Trump to federally pardon Ross Ulbricht, founder of the Silk Road, and all those who have lost their liberty for committing non-violent crimes. TECH LIBERTY FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM The Global Campaigns team is delighted to announce the class of 2020 fellows for the first Global Campaigns fellowship!
