Hey John - Thank you to everyone who joined AYD and Arlington Dems for our virtual gala on Inauguration Day to celebrate the swearing in of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. It was wonderful to spend time with our incredible community, as well as our special guests, Senator Tim Kaine, Senator Mark Warner, and Congressman Don Beyer. There is still much work to be done, but this is a step forward and it’s heartening to have an administration in place that we can work with and push towards positive progressive change. Another thank you to our members who participated in MLK Day of Service and Lobby Day last week. We are grateful for your commitment to making positive change in your communities. For the first half of the meeting, we will be joined by lieutenant governor primary candidates, Xavier Warren and Sean Perryman, along with gubernatorial primary candidate, Senator Jennifer McClellan. For the second half of the meeting, we will have breakout rooms to organize caucuses for 2021. We currently have seven caucuses that you can join (and you can join more than one).
