Friend -- We're nearly a month into 2021. Just a few days ago, Joe Biden was inaugurated. And earlier this month, a white supremacist mob incited by elected officials desperate to maintain political power stormed the Capitol with a deeply anti-democratic goal: to overturn the will of the people. Everyone involved must be held accountable if we are going to be able to repair our democracy and heal our nation. We stand committed to the cause of fortifying our democracy and ensuring that a minority political party desperate to maintain power will not succeed in subverting the will of the voters.

A crucial part of repairing our democracy is ensuring that the redistricting process, which has already begun in a number of states, is fair. Legislatures are already forming redistricting committees and independent redistricting commissions are starting to select commissioners.
