Tomorrow, the U.S. House is expected to transmit the article of impeachment against former president Trump to the Senate - starting the clock for the Senate to begin the trial by February 8!1
With the impeachment trial beginning in just a couple weeks, we must keep up the pressure and demand that senators vote to convict and disqualify Trump from ever holding office again -- but we need your help to reach 25,000 signatures by Monday!
Even though Trump has officially left office, we cannot allow him to evade justice for inciting the deadly insurrection that took place on January 6.
Trump's egregious malfeasance demonstrated just how unfit he was to hold office. Now, facing a record-breaking SECOND impeachment trial, we have an important opportunity to prevent him from ever holding public office again.
But only if we urge the Senate to act.
We must continue calling for swift and decisive justice with the conviction of Trump, so that we can continue refocusing our efforts to advance a progressive agenda that can move our nation forward.
