Today, I have a humble request, Fellow Conservative. But before I ask, I hope you’ll give me a moment to explain why your support is critical to our grassroots team.
I came to America as a young woman with my single-mother, searching for opportunity. Instead, I discovered a broken tax system and a government, no matter how well-intentioned, falling short. My mother was unfairly taxed -- a plight familiar to many. As a single mother, immigrant, and small business owner she lacked the resources to contest it.
It was then I decided enough is enough. I ran for the California State Board of Equalization — the very agency that took advantage of my mother and so many others — and won. Since then I have returned over $400 million to taxpayers, contested higher taxes, and focused on fixing a broken tax system that is holding our families and businesses back. With a record of results, I will continue to work for lower taxes so all Americans can keep more of their hard-earned dollars in their wallet.
But I can’t do it alone. That’s why, today, I am humbly asking for your endorsement, Fellow Conservative.
I'm proud to be one of the first Korean-American women in Congress. And now it's time to make sure the American Dream is still achievable for all Americans.
