We have revamped our monthly Policy and Organizing call to our new “Building Community” Call, which will focus on centering our communities and their solutions. We are hosting our January call next Tuesday, January 26th at 3PM EST / 2PM CST.

Dear friends –

We hope this email finds you well. We are in the final days of a somber, but energizing month that has already set the tone for 2021. So much has happened this year already, and our communities have been on the frontlines. We have always been committed to centering people closest to the pain of gun violence, and to better reflect our mission, we have revamped our monthly Policy and Organizing call to our new “Building Community” Call, which will focus on centering our communities and their solutions. We are hosting our January call this Tuesday, January 26th at 3PM EST / 2PM CST.

Last week, we lost a major force in the movement to end gun violence with the passing of Dante “Tater” Barksdale from Safe Streets Baltimore. Join us on Tuesday to honor his legacy, hear from Rashad Singletary of Safe Streets about his impact, and ways we can support those impacted in this trying time.

We will also hear from Virginia Delegate Lashrecse Aird to share how she sponsored and led the charge to pass Breonna's Law, pioneering as the first state to take direct legislative action to address police violence in response to the killing of Breonna Taylor.

We hope you can join us to learn more about the latest policy and advocacy campaigns and organizing efforts to help end gun violence.

Please RSVP here, and share this invite across your networks!

In solidarity,
