“The very health of our nation is at stake,” President Biden said when he
announced his new coronavirus relief package, called the American Rescue
Plan.
With the Biden-Harris administration’s proposal for the next round of
coronavirus aid, we finally have a roadmap for how we can make it through
the rest of the pandemic. But Congressional Republicans have already
threatened to obstruct passage of this plan,^[1] and that’s why your help
is critical.

it is to pass the American Rescue Plan! >>
Calling attention to the urgency of the moment, President Biden
underscored the dire state of our national response, stating “we have to
act – and we have to act now.”
For legislation of this magnitude to see its way through Congress, it is
critical that members of Congress hear from their constituents. This
historic rescue package would fund vaccinations and programs to help
contain the virus, deliver immediate financial relief to millions of
people, and support struggling communities all across the country.
With both houses of Congress led by Democrats, we now have an opportunity
to pass legislation that reflects our shared priorities and provides long
overdue relief that was blocked by Republicans for months.
