John,
In the first few days of his administration, President Biden has already done a lot to repair the damage done by Trump. He stopped drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and rejected the Keystone XL pipeline. But if President Biden is going to stick to his promise to listen to the science and "build back better," he needs to do even more.
There's too much at stake to waste any time. We need to organize and push Biden and his administration as hard as we can to keep fossil fuels in the ground.
To kick things off, we're hosting a big digital rally next week to Build Back Fossil Free. The rally will feature leaders who are fighting toxic fossil fuel projects and will lay the groundwork for a coordinated organizing campaign to build on this week’s momentum. Will you join the digital rally on Tuesday?

What: Build Back Fossil Free Digital Rally
When: Tuesday, January 26, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT
Where: Join from home! The digital rally will be held on Zoom; closed captioning and translation will be available.
Food & Water Watch is working with allies across the country on a campaign we're calling Build Back Fossil Free. We're demanding that President Biden use every tool at his disposal to avert further climate devastation while helping people recover from the pandemic.
That means rejecting permits for fossil fuel projects, like pipelines and fracked gas export terminals. And it means protecting and investing in the Black, Indigenous, Brown, and working-class communities that have borne the brunt of fossil fuel pollution and climate disaster.
On Tuesday, you'll hear more about what President Biden can do to stop fossil fuel projects and how you can take action from home and in your community to make this campaign a success.
Can you join us on Tuesday, January 26, at 8 p.m. ET?
