Cori Bush for Congress

We need all hands on deck, John.

Yesterday, Cori and Rep. Ayanna Pressley led their colleagues in sending a letter calling on President Joe Biden to end federal executions for good.

Under Trump’s administration, the federal government restarted federal executions for the first time in 17 years. Altogether, they executed more people than any other administration in over a century and a half.

The death penalty is inhumane, and the time is now to end its use for good. Our criminal-legal system should never take a human life.

Joe Biden has the power to commute the sentences of anyone on death row and finally end this inhumane practice. Will you co-sign Cori and Rep. Ayanna Pressley’s letter and join us in urging Joe Biden to commute the sentences of the 49 people currently on the death row and end the death penalty in America for good?

The death penalty is an immoral and racist practice that has no place in our country.

During his campaign, Biden said that he was willing to eliminate the federal death penalty, but he has not yet committed to commuting any of the remaining federal sentences — so now we have to hold him accountable to those promises.

We need your help now, John, to call on Joe Biden to take action before the next planned execution. Please add your name to support Cori and Rep. Ayanna Pressley’s letter urging Joe Biden to commute all federal death sentences.

Let’s do this,

Team Cori
