** This committee hearing brought us to tears

It's that time of year again. All across the country, state legislatures are beginning to consider the Convention of States Resolution in committees and in legislative chambers.
Our first test was in Montana, where the Senate Judiciary Committee heard powerful testimony from Convention of States volunteers about our resolution.
It was, in a word, inspiring.
Patriots rose to defend liberty, the Constitution, and future generations. They explained how a Convention of States is the only way to rein in federal power, and they urged their representatives to use Article V to get our country back on track.

Before the hearing, volunteers gathered to pray for the committee and for the upcoming testimonies.
COVID restrictions limited room capacity, so volunteers had to wait outside before testifying.
In the gallery, other volunteers watched the proceedings.

Then the testimony began!
And it kept going and going!
Yesterday's hearing was just to hear testimony on the Convention of States Resolution. We expect the committee to take a vote next week. But if today's inspiring testimony is any indication, we like our chances!
