A New Window into Pre-Session Fundraising
After the new year, there's always a flurry of fundraising before a ban on political contributions goes into effect during the General Assembly session.

A new state law required candidates for statewide office and the state legislature for the first time to disclose any donation over $1,000 received between January 1st and the start of the session. See the top recipients. ([link removed])
