John —
With Democrats in control of the House, Senate, and White House for the first time in over a decade, we have the unique opportunity to set and achieve a bold agenda in the days ahead.
And with the immense amount of damage done by four years of a Trump presidency and the COVID-19 pandemic, there’s a lot we have to do, and fast.
The first 100 days of the Biden administration and our new Democratic-led Congress are critical. Already, President Biden has signed executive orders to reverse Trump’s xenophobic travel ban and other cruel immigration policies, address the climate crisis by rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, and rapidly pick up the pace on tackling the COVID-19 crisis, including rejoining the World Health Organization, instituting a federal mask mandate, and invoking the Defense Production Act to produce the materials we need in this war on the virus.
But there’s still so much more to do: provide more economic relief to workers and businesses, give our schools and frontline workers the resources they need, make healthcare universal, take bold action on climate change, pass comprehensive immigration reform, strengthen voting rights, fight for racial justice. We could go on and on.
We’re now three days into this new era of Democratic leadership in Washington, and Adam wants to hear directly from you on what issues you’d like to see Congress and the Biden administration prioritize in the months ahead.
So, will you take our quick First 100 Days Priorities Survey to let Adam know what issues you’d like him to fight for in the new Congress?
We’ll share your responses with Adam next week. Thanks for making your voice heard as Adam and the new Democratic majority in Congress get to work building back our country better.
