The NDRC and our affiliates have developed detailed plans to put pressure on lawmakers and, if necessary, pursue litigation to protect the 2021 redistricting process from Republican manipulation. We've identified 15 key states where we will focus our efforts, based on the following criteria:
- States with a history of gerrymandering
- States where public participation plays a key role in the redistricting process
- States that will gain or lose congressional seats during reapportionment
Remember, the maps drawn this year will remain in place for a decade, and the NDRC is the ONLY Democratic organization dedicated to ensuring a fair redistricting. Can we count on you to help us get ready for the work ahead?
