After Baker relaxes some pandemic restrictions, epidemiologists urge caution
Governor Charlie Baker’s announcement that he would lift some COVID-19 restrictions has set off a round of questions in the medical community: Has the state passed the peak of a second surge? Is now the right time to roll back restrictions, even modestly?

Not all specialists are certain, but most expressed caution. One health expert said the move signals “that the end is closer than it really is.”
