The last four years were marred by the corruption committed by President Donald Trump and the GOP.

And we're not talking about smoky backroom deals hidden from the American people – we're talking about blatant, naked corruption: the encouragement of foreign interference in our democracy, letting special-interest groups like the NRA call the shots on legislation, and voter suppression that stretched from Georgia to Florida to Texas and beyond. 

One of the most important duties of our new Congress – our newly solidified majority – and the Biden administration is to root out the corruption that President Trump emboldened in Washington. That means limiting the influence of special interests and returning it to the hands of the people. That means deep and bold ethics reforms. That means automatic voter registration.

But these reforms we need to make? They don't begin in the halls of Congress. They begin with people like you, speaking up, one voice at a time.
