This is the question that young people from all over the country will be asking today as they head to Capitol Hill. In partnership with Jack and Jill of America, Inc., one thousand teens and parents will be marching into the offices of their Senators and members of Congress with copies of the Children’s Defense Fund’s new Protect Children, Not Guns report to demand common-sense gun violence prevention laws.

Will you stand with these brave young people and demand that lawmakers take steps now to protect them?

Consider these facts:

  • Gun violence kills more preschoolers than law enforcement officers in the line of duty.

  • The number of children and teens killed by gun violence in one year would fill 171 classrooms of 20 students per classroom.

  • Relentless gun violence across the country kills more children and teens every week than the Columbine, Sandy Hook and Parkland massacres combined.

Enough is enough. Stand with the young people making their voices heard today and demand that your representatives take meaningful action to protect children, not guns.

Thank you for taking action.
