Food & Water Watch is ramping up our national campaign to ban fracking on public lands. Will you chip in and urge President Biden to stop public lands from being destroyed by fracking?

John,
During the last five years, over 10 million acres of public land have been leased for oil & gas drilling and fracking.
Every day that drilling and fracking continues is a day lost in the fight to stop climate change. But John, there is hope. Yesterday, President Biden signed an executive order pausing oil and gas leases on all public lands for 60 days. This is a great first step, but we need more than a temporary moratorium when it comes to oil and gas drilling.
President Biden promised to listen to the science on climate change and public health. The science is overwhelmingly clear: Fracking is deadly to people and our climate.
With your help, we can — and we will — stop Big Oil & Gas! Donate today to power our national campaign to ban fracking on public lands!

Everywhere around the country, communities are suffering the consequences of fracking. Fires, floods, and food and water shortages are getting worse.
Meanwhile, Big Oil & Gas has been lying to us for years. It tries to con people into believing that so-called “natural gas” is somehow cleaner than other dirty fossil fuels, and that fracked gas is a “bridge fuel” to renewable energy. We know the truth: Fossil fuels are killing our climate, and fracking is a bridge to climate chaos! Will you join our fight to ban fracking on public lands?

President Biden has the power to ban fracking on public lands NOW. He ran on a promise to ban fracking on public lands, and we intend to hold him to that promise. But that alone won’t be enough. To avert climate chaos, we need to make sure President Biden embraces a vision that moves us off fossil fuels completely.
People across the country raised their voices to protect the Arctic from oil and gas drilling, and they showed that if we work together we can make the change needed to stop fossil fuel companies from putting profit before people and the environment. And with you by our side — now more than ever, and the Biden administration in power, we have a chance to move this country forward to protect our communities and the planet from catastrophic climate change. This starts with banning fracking on public lands.
Will you consider making a tax-deductible donation to power our movement against fracking? Yes, I’ll donate $30!
