When John told me he had a surprise, surely I thought he meant Funyuns were back on sale — but alas, here we are as John explores a run for U.S. Senate! It’s been a whirlwind so far, and we’re overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and kindness we’ve received since John shared that he’s gearing up to run. We couldn’t be more grateful to have your support as our family thinks about taking on this journey together. Thank you. ❤️
A couple of things you should know about me:
✅ I’ve spent my life working on issues of access and have started organizations that support our neighbors who need it the most.
✅ I’m John’s number 1 troll and have removed his head from photos for the last 14 years. 😆
That’s why today, I’ve challenged John that if we can meet our fundraising goal, I’ll leave his head on *a few* photos going forward.
Every day is a wild ride being married to John and a mother to our three kids and my beloved good boi and *Pennsylvania’s official dog* Levi, so John’s decision to explore this run for Senate isn’t one we take lightly. We want to make this leap as a family — and the incredible support we’ve seen so far has made us confident that this is a race we can win if we go for it.
But winning this thing will take a whole lot of work, and John’s success in this race will depend heavily on how much early support we can build for our run. That’s why I’m asking you to chip in today: Donate $5, or whatever you can, to help us launch a campaign the right way.
