We just swore Democrats Raphael Warnock, Jon Ossoff, and Alex Padilla into the Senate to give Democrats the majority, but Republicans are already hard at work to defeat me in 2022. I already have one opponent and the press is reporting that other high-profile Republicans might challenge me.

The GOP is targeting me early because they think defeating me is their best chance at winning back Senate control.

The ONLY way I can defend this Democratic Senate seat is by getting an early start in building my re-election campaign. I need to raise $10,000 this weekend, and I'm asking for $3 or more from you to help us get there. Will you please pitch in?

If we fall short, it will invite corporate special interests to start spending early money against me. That's a risk we can't afford. We MUST send a message about our grassroots strength early.

We only won our 2016 race by 1,017 votes. That means that every single thing that we do -- and every dollar you can give -- could be the difference between winning and losing.
