but they can't hide.

“The NRA does not get to dictate if and where they will answer for their actions.”
- New York Attorney General Letitia James
The NRA can’t lie or cheat their way out of accountability this time, John .
Last week, the NRA declared bankruptcy in an attempt to avoid being sued for its misconduct in a suit brought by the New York Attorney General which seeks to dissolve the organization. Luckily, a New York Supreme Court judge saw through the NRA’s disingenuous legal maneuvering and has allowed the lawsuit to proceed.
The NRA is crumbling, but we’ll only deal the final blow to their corruption if we keep up our fight alongside brave leaders like Attorney General James. We are closer than ever to attaining the vision held by our namesakes Jim and Sarah Brady: a world where the NRA is out of business for good.

The NRA’s time for accountability is way past due, John , and this lawsuit seeks to finally hold the NRA's corrupt leadership accountable for years of putting profits above people and turning a blind eye while hundreds of thousands of Americans are killed by senseless gun violence. But this is only the beginning of the reckoning the NRA must face, and Brady continues to seek other ways to defeat this cancerous organization.
We know too well the consequences of letting the NRA survive: it will continue to prevent lifesaving gun safety bills from being passed while contributing directly to our country’s gun violence epidemic.
Brady has led the charge against the NRA’s Evil Empire for decades and we are ready to end its reign of terror once and for all. But we need you with us.
