These past few months have reminded us how fragile our democracy is. If we want our nation to succeed, we need major, meaningful reforms to strengthen our democracy.

The first bill Andy supported after he was sworn in to Congress was H.R. 1, the For the People Act , which would counter Citizens United and put the power back in the hands of the American people. But former Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and President Donald Trump blocked this critical reform for the past two years.

Now, Andy is helping reintroduce this legislation, and in this new term we have a new opportunity to restore our democracy.
