Did you know that today is National Sanctity of Human Life Day?

 

It’s an important day of both reflection and celebration for our nation to observe –– and that’s exactly what Governor Holcomb is doing today.

 

Being pro-life is deeply personal to Eric, and he’s made defending the sanctity of life a top priority while Governor. There is no task more important to him than making sure that Hoosier lives are protected at every turn –– whether born or unborn.

 

Under Eric’s leadership, Indiana has taken great strides forward to set the national standard for defending life by:

• Reducing Indiana’s infant mortality rate year after year to an all-time LOW in 2020.

• Increasing adoption opportunities - Indiana now leads the nation in children adopted from foster care!

• Creating more opportunities for Hoosiers with disabilities.

These milestones are all the more reason for Hoosiers to celebrate today –– and they’re why Indiana was recently named the 5th most pro-life state in the country!

 

But Governor Holcomb isn’t done there, John.

 

Eric’s doubling-down on fighting for expanded pregnancy accommodations for Hoosier moms in every workplace across Indiana so that expecting mothers can start providing for their children even before they’re born.

 

Life is precious, fragile, and sacred –– and that’s why Governor Holcomb will always be a tireless advocate for Hoosier lives.
