Hello Somebody!

The best way to tell what somebody is going to do, is to look at what they’ve done.

I did not come to my political beliefs yesterday. Since my first campaign for Cleveland City Council almost 20 years ago to right now, I’ve always fought to guarantee all our people access to good-paying jobs, housing they can afford, and the medical care they need.

So when I say that I’ll fight for you in Congress, you know that I’m for real. Because I’ve been doing it for 20 years. Just check out this photo!

Back then, I was running to be the first Black woman to represent Cleveland’s Ward 1 on the City Council.

Now our movement has set our sights on Congress. And while the campaign might be different, the struggle is the same.

Today, like 20 years ago, our movement is focused on delivering for working people, not the millionaires and billionaires who rig the system against the rest of us.

So if you can afford it, please make a contribution to our campaign today. We’re not taking ANY money from corporate PACs, so the only way we’re going to have what it takes to win this race is if lots and lots of people like you get involved.

The crises we face require bold leaders who will stand up for the most vulnerable among us. That’s what I’ve been doing my entire life, and it’s what I’ll do in Congress.

But we’ve got a lot of work ahead of us to make that happen, so thank you in advance for pitching in. We absolutely could not do it without you.
