President Biden laid out ambitious goals in his Inaugural Address. He has
already signed executive orders to end Trump’s disastrously un-American
Muslim Ban, take bold action against COVID-19, have the U.S. rejoin the
Paris Climate Accord, and undo some of the other harm of the previous
administration. And, as of this week, Democrats now control the U.S.
Senate, in addition to the House!

This is our chance to score historic progressive policy wins to protect
fundamental rights, advance racial equity and justice, expand economic
opportunity for all, and reassert progressive values as AMERICAN values to
heal our country and tackle our unprecedented challenges.

It’s absolutely vital that, in this critical year, we have every People
For member standing with us. We won the White House, took back the Senate,
and elected inspiring, diverse, young progressive leaders to key state and
local offices … now we need to make sure we follow up on those victories
with a robust progressive agenda. But enacting that agenda is going to
take a lot work, especially grassroots organizing.
