| John – COVID-19 is out there right now, and we can’t afford to wait for it to pass. That’s why I’ve been traveling all over South Carolina, encouraging hospitals to speed up their COVID-19 vaccination efforts by adding more staff – to give more shots. We have got to use every single dose of this vaccine that comes into the state. John, our only goal is to have 100% of the available vaccines administered each week. We must prioritize those that are most affected by the virus. I will continue working for all South Carolinians to make sure our state’s COVID-19 vaccines are made available to our most vulnerable citizens. The fight is far from over, but with the leadership of our local medical professionals, community volunteers, and the National Guard — and a sense of urgency — we’ll maximize the speed of our vaccination rollout. John, each day, we open up additional public vaccination sites around the state, doubling the number of shots being given. I look forward to the day when everyone who wants a vaccine can access one quickly and without a wait.
