Hey Friend,

I’m just checking in. Will you help PETA stop speciesism and suffering again in
2021?

My coworker Cindy e-mailed you on Tuesday, but it looks like you still haven’t
renewed your membership for this year. But it’s easy to fix that: Just click here
[[link removed]] to renew. Until January 30, you can renew for just $8, a 50% discount! And this
month only, members can receive a special PETA “I Support Animal
Rights” face mask, courtesy of Hanes.

Your renewed support can help keep PETA’s mobile veterinary clinics stocked and
allow fieldworkers to provide more lonely dogs with shelter, food, and
much-needed care. It’ll help secure supplies for PETA investigators, get free
resources like PETA’s phenomenal vegan starter kit into people’s hands, and keep
animal rights issues in the headlines. And that’s just a few of the many diverse
ways PETA members are helping animals every day.

To reach our goal of 30,000 members by January 30, we need to hear from kind
people like you. Please take a few moments right now and renew your PETA membership for 2021
while our 50% discount offer is active.

Thank you!

Subject: Re your PETA membership

Hi Friend,

I help lead the membership services team at the PETA Foundation. January is a
critically important month for PETA—the support received during January’s annual
membership renewal drive will lay the foundation for all that the organization
will accomplish for animals during the year ahead.

We’re aiming to have 30,000 members confirm their support before January 30.
While there’s still time to donate, when I checked my records this morning, your
name wasn’t on the list yet.

Please, take a moment to renew your membership and help power PETA’s work in the
year ahead.
[[link removed]] Until January 30, we’re offering a special 50% membership discount—meaning it
costs only $8 to renew! And right now, as a special thanks for supporting PETA’s
work, members can receive a free “I Support Animal Rights” face mask, courtesy
of Hanes!

I’ve been working with PETA donors for more than 20 years, and during that time,
I’ve heard so many heartbreaking stories of abuse and neglect. Sheep punched and
kicked before being violently shorn for wool. Dogs left chained outside without
shelter from the freezing cold—some of whom die there, lonely and afraid.
Monkeys separated from their families and intentionally tormented by
experimenters for years on end.

But the thing that’s kept me here for decades—what inspires me most—is getting
to see firsthand the tremendous difference that PETA supporters are making for
animals.

You provide resources for PETA fieldworkers to deliver custom-built doghouses to lonely “outside dogs,” providing them with
some protection from winter’s deadly chill.

You support the investigations and eyewitness exposés that uncover and end horrific abuse on farms, in slaughterhouses, and at other dismal places.

You amplify the impact of PETA’s petitions, campaigns, and ads, pushing institutions and individuals to stop imprisoning, experimenting on, and
otherwise tormenting monkeys, dogs, birds, and other animals.

Until January 30, you can renew your PETA membership for just $8—and receive a
free “I Support Animal Rights” PETA face mask as a thank-you for your membership
gift!

It’s not too late to be part of this work again in 2021. I hope you’ll renew your PETA membership today, while our special membership
discount offer is active.

Thank you for your compassion and support!

Sincerely,

Cindy
