Two days ago, Donald Trump was evicted from the Oval Office and Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were sworn in as President and Vice President.
With Democrats in control of the House, the Senate, and now the White House, we have an unprecedented opportunity — not only to help our communities recover from the cruelty and callousness of the past four years, but to build more equitable, just systems for the long run. There is an urgent need for bold, intentional action.
We’re going to organize like never before to continue the fight for real, lasting progress for all of our communities. We must not wait to legislate justice and healing for all people.
The time is now to push for policies that match the scale of the crises we face — to make healthcare a human right, safeguard our planet for future generations, end systemic racism and oppression, and so much more.
