It’s been a long four years to get to this point, and while we *finally* have a bit of hope, we know things won’t magically change overnight. No singular politician can dismantle the foundations of injustice this country was built on. It’s only the power of us, the people as a collective, that can dismantle that foundation and create one built with community in mind.
This is the first time that March For Our Lives has existsed outside of the Tr*mp administration, and we have the opportunity for some real progress. March For Our Lives is entering a new era too -- we have new staff, we’re committed to restorative justice, we’re learning more about how gun violence intersects with other aspects of our identity, and we’re growing as a movement. Now is the time to keep up the pressure and stay involved.
