I’ll be honest with you: We need Matt in Congress in order to protect the House. The path to victory in 2020 runs straight through “toss-up” districts like Pennsylvania's 8th – after all, President Trump won PA-08 in 2016. In 2018, Republicans spent millions trying to win this seat, and they will be back at it in 2020.

As we approach another presidential election, margins are likely to be just as thin, and GOP mega-donors will pay handsomely to try to take this seat back in their quest to reelect Trump.
