 Indigenous Women For Climate Justice
Dear Relatives,

I am honored to share this powerful video with you that highlights the journey of an International Indigenous Women's delegation organized by MADRE and the Indigenous Environmental Network here in Fort Berthold, North Dakota.

As a part of the delegation, I hosted Indigenous women from Colombia, Guatemala, Israel, Kenya, Nepal, and Nicaragua who traveled to Fort Berthold to see firsthand the damage that extractive industries, like oil and gas mega-projects, forced on Indigenous communities like mine — and to talk about solutions.

Climate chaos caused by climate change is getting worse and the the time for action is now. It's time to build a just transition from our addiction to fossil fuels. A new future is possible.
