Dear Friend,
Under the Trump administration, nearly 2 million acres were carved from Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante national monuments for mining and industrial development.
Now President Biden has the opportunity to restore protections to these two national treasures.[1]
Call on President Biden to take swift and early action to restore Utah's Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante.

Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante are two of our most breathtaking national monuments. They are notable for their red-rock formations and canyons. Seventy-five million-year-old dinosaur fossils have been unearthed in the rock layers of Grand Staircase-Escalante.[2]
These special places are also home to federally endangered and threatened species. More than 200 species of birds are found in Grand Staircase-Escalante, including endangered California condors and threatened bald eagles. Bears Ears is habitat to threatened Mexican spotted owls.[3]
In order to protect these stunning landscapes and the wildlife they support, we need President Biden to restore Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante to their original boundaries.
Add your name in support of restoration of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante.
