DEAR

Britain has entered 2021 in the grip of the worst moments of the Covid-19
crisis.

It is unthinkable, therefore, that the Government is still planning to cut
Universal Credit by £20 a week, or £1000 a year, in April.

17,293 individuals in our constituency now rely on this lifeline, double
the amount from the same period a year ago. This doubling is largely due to
the pandemic. Now is the time for more support, not cuts.

That's why I'm campaigning for the Government to retain this extra support.
