Biden’s Assault on America’s Borders Has Begun

Here’s what you can do to fight back

That didn’t take long. Within a few hours of assuming the presidency, Joe Biden signed a flurry of executive orders to reverse the Trump immigration victories and de-stabilize our borders. The orders Biden signed or issued through the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Inauguration Day include:

  • A directive that for 100 days, starting January 22, 2021, DHS will pause removals for nearly all illegal aliens – including criminals;
  • An immediate halt to the national emergency Trump declared to divert defense funding for border wall construction;
  • An immediate halt to the travel ban of individuals seeking to enter the U.S. from terror-prone countries;
  • A directive for the secretary of Homeland Security to preserve Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA);
  • A revocation of Trump’s order to exclude illegal aliens from being counted in the census, a move that will reward states and congressional districts that have dangerous sanctuary laws;
  • A directive that, starting January 21, DHS will no longer enroll asylum seekers arriving at the southern border in Trump’s program that requires them to remain in Mexico; and
  • A reversal of Trump’s executive order that expanded the categories of illegal aliens eligible for removal from the country.

Those orders and directives are just the opening salvo. Biden is also preparing an expansive immigration bill for Congress that will call for a pathway to citizenship for illegals and an increase in the number of family-based green cards.

If you feel like your liberties as a freedom-loving American are slipping away, you are not alone. Politicians routinely disappoint us. The media is a propaganda tool for the radical Left and establishment Republicans. “Is anyone looking out for MY interests, the future of MY family and MY country?” you may ask.

I am proud to tell you that my organization, the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI), has been fighting for your interests for years, and is preparing to fight harder than ever against this urgent threat to our liberties.

Today I want to ask you to consider committing yourself to our fight against the Biden-Harris plan to destroy our country by making your best contribution to IRLI today.

IRLI is the ONLY legal group dedicated to defending the rights of Americans from the harmful effects of illegal and excessive legal immigration. We often fight the anti-borders legal groups by ourselves in the courts, and they are lavishly funded by the likes of George Soros and Silicon Valley billionaires. It is always an uphill battle.

Despite this funding gap, however, we have routinely scored wins on issues including wall funding, which enabled the Trump administration to build 450 miles of wall in four years, DHS’s new Public Charge rule, which denies green cards to aliens likely to be dependent on public benefits, and sanctuary cities, to name a few recent victories. These are wins for you and your liberties as a freedom-loving American.

With Biden in the White House and extremist Democrats taking over the Senate, the Left will now push harder than ever to re-write our immigration laws through the courts. To continue this fight for your interests, we need your help.

Supporting IRLI is one of the most effective ways you can fight back against this hostile takeover of America. Your tax-deductible gift will go directly toward the fight for our country’s future. I ask for your support and wish you and your family the best in the new year.

Sincerely,

Dale L. Wilcox
Executive Director, IRLI

Your tax-deductible gift will make a difference and enable IRLI to fight for our nation, our communities, and our citizens.
