*KickStart!*

Nottingham City Council are proudly acting as a gateway body for the KickStart scheme. This means that we can apply to the scheme on your behalf.

The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to create new job placements for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment. Employers of all sizes can apply for fundingwhich covers:


* 100% of theNational Minimum Wage [ [link removed] ](or theNational Living Wage [ [link removed] ]depending on the age of the participant) for 25 hours per week for a total of 6 months
* associatedemployer National Insurance contributions [ [link removed] ]
* employer minimum automatic enrolment contributions
* 1,500 grant for setup costs
