POLITICO reported on January 15: “Federal prosecutors on Thursday for the first time described last week's assault on the U.S. Capitol as a ‘violent insurrection that attempted to overthrow the United States Government” -- and one they consider to still be underway.”
The world watched in horror as HUNDREDS of people stormed the Capitol after Trump and his cronies incited them to violence to “stop the steal.” And now we're hearing that these attacks will only continue.
Something MUST be done to hold all of those who attacked our country and our democracy accountable. We think one of the best hopes is Michael Sherwin, the acting United States attorney for the District of Columbia, who announced that he is working on building sedition charges.
