Friend -- Here's something interesting that President Obama said recently:

"When this country voted overwhelmingly for progress in 2008, conservatives answered with a multi-million-dollar scheme to manipulate our elections. Let me be clear, the effort to gerrymander our maps was in direct response to our grassroots movement for change."

President Obama had to deal with years of obstruction from Republicans because of a gerrymandered House of Representatives -- and now the Biden-Harris administration is at risk of the same thing. Republicans have shown that they will do anything to hold onto power.

We can't afford to have their progressive plans for America blocked because Republicans rig the maps and achieve unbreakable majorities in Congress.

That's why achieving a fair redistricting this year is so important. Friend, will you donate to help us get fair maps and a level playing field so that Democrats can pass the policies America needs?

Think about it this way. If Republicans in states like Georgia, Wisconsin, and Michigan manipulate the maps this year, they will ensure that the U.S. House is filled with extremists who will block every piece of the Biden-Harris agenda. That would mean no progress on climate change, health care, or any of the issues we care about -- and a continued platform in the halls of Congress for the far-right supporters that have propped up Trump.

But if we can achieve fair maps, and have fair elections in 2022, we'll get a Congress that will work with, not against, President Biden. We'll get a Congress that works for the people.
