Let us take a moment and congratulate our new President Joe Biden and our new Vice President Kamala Harris! I hope the inauguration festivities left you feeling as optimistic about the future as I am -- I am ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work with the Biden/Harris Administration to deliver on the promises we made to the people of Northwest Indiana. 

While we have a lot of work ahead of us, I remain forever confident that we are a resilient people. On this new day, we are able to bring empathy and kindness back to government, we are able to rely on transparency and accountability for our leaders, and we are able to seize this moment to enact the bold agenda that will allow us to build back better!

So as we celebrate the beginning of this new chapter in our nation, let's reaffirm our commitment to finding solutions for the obstacles that lie ahead. From ending this pandemic to rebuilding the middle class through good-paying jobs, to restoring our faith in government, I know that there is no limit to what we can achieve when we work together toward our shared goals.
