All three major music labels -- Warner, Universal, and Sony -- just
announced that they will stop PAC donations to Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, and
the 145 other Republican Traitors who voted to overturn our democratic
election. The industry group that represents them said this in a
statement:

"RIAA condemns the attack on the U.S. Capitol. We support candidates who
respect both the rule of law and the results of free and fair elections.
In light of the events of January 6, we have reviewed the criteria for our
political giving and are not contributing to those who voted against the
peaceful transition of power."

pressure corporations including AMC Theaters, Bacardi, Burger King,
Samsung, and others to permanently stop PAC donations to the Republican
traitors who voted to overturn our democracy. None of them have committed
yet.

And, [ [link removed] ]please donate to our work pressing Congress to hold Donald Trump,
Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, and the 145 other Republican traitors accountable.

Well, this is amazing.

Corporate PACs are announcing they will stop donating to the traitors in
Congress.

American Express promised to never again donate to ANY of the 147
congressional Republicans like Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley who voted to
overturn our democratic election. Hallmark is demanding their money back!

The Washington Post reports a “deluge of announcements” by some
corporations is creating pressure on others.

pressure. And help push them to take a stand!

And then [ [link removed] ]donate to build pressure in Congress to EXPEL Ted Cruz, Josh
Hawley, and the 145 other traitors who voted to overturn our election.

This #DrainTheTraitors effort builds on reporting by Judd Legum at Popular
Information to increase the pressure on corporations to take decisive
action. (Subscribe to [ [link removed] ]Popular Information here.)

Hundreds of corporate PACs have been contacted. On our #DrainTheTraitors
page, we tell you which response they have given:

* Great answers! Permanently have cut donations.
* Good, but temporary. We're pushing them to make permanent.
* False equivalence. Cutting "all" donations to everyone - very
wimpy.
* Blah answers. "Reviewing" their policies.
* No comment or refused to take a stand.

If corporations want their customers, investors, and employees to know
they stand with American democracy, they must take a stand now.

By thanking corporations that will never donate again to these 147
traitors, we can encourage other corporations to do the same. And by
shaming brands that refuse -- or that want the positive PR without
meaningfully standing up for democracy -- we can create pressure to change
their mind.

And then [ [link removed] ]donate to build pressure in Congress to EXPEL Ted Cruz, Josh
Hawley, and the 145 other traitors who voted to overturn our election.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
