The past four years have felt like an eternity - but we made it through a peaceful transition of power and are on to the next era in our democracy. Innovation drove our collective success in 2020. Technology allowed campaigns to adapt during a pandemic and respond to unprecedented amounts of misinformation. But we know our job is far from complete – we must invest behind the strongest ideas and founders today with an eye towards the future.

Higher Ground Labs is here to support the companies that will change campaigns and win elections in 2022 and beyond. Do you have an idea that you can’t get out of your head? Have you started something new that needs some funding and support?

In 2021, Higher Ground Labs will invest in a fourth cohort of for-profit start-ups that are building technologies for politics and advocacy. This cohort will join a vibrant community of 30+ HGL startups that have reshaped the political technology landscape. In 2020, our portfolio, guided billions of dollars of ad strategy, engaged tens of millions of volunteers and organizers, and registered millions of voters.

Startups invited to our accelerator receive investment capital and access to an intensive, 4-month program where you will learn from experts in sales, marketing and product, dive deep into the political market, and meet key potential clients and investors.
