John, there are a few things that I know to be true.
Nobody should have to work three jobs to barely make ends meet. Everyone deserves the dignity of a living wage.
Nobody should be bankrupted by medical bills, and nobody should die because they can’t afford life-saving care. Healthcare is a human right.
It’s time to put an end to legalized discrimination. The LGBTQ community deserves full and equal rights.
This country was built on the backs of immigrants. Nobody should be banned from America based on their religion or ethnicity, everyone deserves a path to citizenship, and families belong together.
Nobody should be forced to live on the streets in one of the richest countries in the world. Public housing is crucial, and it must be fully funded.
